What affects the price of tree removal?
Size is only part of it. The tree’s condition, access for equipment, nearby structures and the amount of hauling all affect the work. A property-specific estimate is more useful than a generic price per tree.
Can I keep the wood?
Include that in your estimate request. Agree on whether logs stay, how they are cut and where they are left before work starts.
Does removal include the stump?
Don’t assume it does. Ask for stump work to be listed separately so you know exactly what the estimate includes.
